LAPEL TOWN COUNCIL MEETING

APRIL 16, 2020

In attendance in person: Chad Blake, Tom Marvel, Paula Lee, and Kourtney Krabbe.  In attendance virtually: Jason Kleinbub, Teresa Retherford, Dennis Molina, Gary Shuck, and Jeff Graham, Town Attorney.

7pm meeting called to order.

Motion made by Blake to approve the March 19 & 30 meeting minutes, 2^nd by Retherford and all were in favor except Kleinbub who was absent for those meetings.

Motion to approve the claims as presented made by Marvel, 2^nd by Blake and all were in favor.

Motion to approve Ordinance #6-2020 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF LAPEL, CONCERNING HEALTH BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN ELECTED OFFICIALS AND PART TIME EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN made by Retherford, 2^nd by Kleinbub and all were in favor.

Motion to give full time hourly utility crew employees a 25 cent raise made by Kleinbub, 2^nd by Blake and all were in favor.

Motion to increase Hutchison’s pay for promotion to Gas Operator to $20.00 an hour made by Retherford, 2^nd by Blake and all were in favor.

Motion for Bryant to maintain current rate of pay as Part Time Gas Labor made by Marvel, 2^nd by Blake and all were in favor.

Motion to allow one extra day off thru the week for utility crew beginning April 20, 2020 per the needs of Utility Director made by Marvel, 2^nd by Retherford and all were in favor.

Being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.
