Main Street Repaving Project 2020

Update on Main St Closure. Starting today, 13 May 2020, the crews have begun the Main St work project. The project covers the area of Main St between 14th St and Pendleton Ave. Crews will begin by cutting out sections of the road and sidewalk and follow that with pouring new concrete. Weather dependent, the concrete work is scheduled for 12 days. Upon completion of the concrete work, crews will begin prepping the roadway surface for new asphalt and will complete the project by resurfacing the roadway. During this project, Main St parking will be prohibited. We are asking for the assistance and patience of all residents. To preclude any delays to the project, please refrain from parking along Main St. If a vehicle is parked along Main St and halts the project, the Police Department will attempt to contact the owner and citations may be issued or if the owner can not be located, the vehicle may be towed.
