LPD: Curfew Violations

“We are not doing this to pick on the kid’s.  There is just a growing and growing problem with this in Lapel,’ said Captain Michael Barnes.  “Peoples cars are being gone through and things taken. The parks have continually been spray painted or had the picnic tables broken apart.  Street signs have been damaged as well as some local businesses signs.  It has to stop.”

Another increasing complaint, is of juveniles walking across people’s property, even climbing fences to do so and hanging out on the porches or inside empty homes.  “A general lack of respect for other people’s property basically”.

“There are exceptions to the curfew for certain activities but parents should be aware, we will be checking the validity of any claims made to us.  Also, an 18 year old classmate is not a guardian.”
