CH14 5 .6 - Setbacks: Accessory Buildings in Residential Districts

Amendments and Repeals

Sections of this ordinance have since been Amended By - 5-2015 
  1. In a residential district, an accessory building may be located no closer to a side lot line than six (6) feet and no closer to the front lot line than the minimum front yard for a principal building.
  2.  If an interior lot abuts a corner lot or an alley separating them and the front yards of the two lots are perpendicular to each other, an accessory building on the rear lot line of the corner lot may be located no closer to the street abutting the interior lot than the principal building on the interior lot.
  3. Shall not exceed a height of 16'.
