SPECIAL MEETING
MAY 6, 2026

In attendance: Chad Blake, Lindsay Washmuth, Roger Fouse, Kristie Worthman, Teresa Retherford,

Secretary, and William Cain, Legal Counsel

Public Comment: Alicia West spoke about communication, community involvement, and volunteerism.

New Business: Vermeer Payment

Motion to approve the Vermeer Payment made by Fouse, 2 ^nd by Washmuth and all were in favor except Worthman who abstained.

Professional Services agreement McFarland PR and Public Affairs

Motion to accept the McFarland PR and Public Affairs agreement not to exceed an annual amount of $5000 made by Washmuth, 2 ^nd by Worthman and all were in favor.

Motion to donate $3000 to the Lapel Fireworks Association made by Washmuth, 2^nd by Blake and all were in favor.

Discussion was held about Dan Plumlee wanting to join another Commission member and possibly hiring him for IT purposes.

Old Business: Comcast Right of Way Bond

Motion to approve the Comcast Right of Way Bond in the amount of $185,000 made by Fouse, 2 ^nd by Washmuth and all were in favor.

Motion to approve the two Everstream Right of Way Bonds in the amount of $18,000 made by Washmuth, 2 ^nd by Blake and all were in favor.

Discussion was then held about when a workshop could be held. Council came up with a date of May 20, 2026 at the Lion's Club.

Motion to adjourn made by Fouse, 2 ^nd by Washmuth and all were in favor.
