In attendance in person: Gary Shuck, & Kourtney Krabbe. In attendance via virtual video: Teresa Retherford, Tony Hewitt, Dan Paddock, & Angie Duncan.

This meeting is being conducted for Mr. & Mrs. Franklin to present their waiver for property lot #3 in Stony Creek properties. Mr. Franklin is asking the Planning Commission’s permission to split their 12 acre property into two six acre lots. The division line would run north and south, and the Franklin’s property would be lot 3A with their drive on Atlantic Road.

A motion was made to approve the Franklin’s waiver to split their property was made by Hewitt, 2^nd by Retherford; all were in favor.

A motion was made to approve the replot of the Franklin’s property by Paddock, 2^nd by Retherford; all were in favor.

Gary Shuck stated the Planning Commission will send their favorable recommendation to the Lapel Town Council for final decision. Chad Blake, Town Council President, stated a special meeting will get scheduled soon for the Council to make their final decision.

Gary Shuck asked the Franklins if they have made contact with Hamilton County yet about their driveway since it will come out on Atlantic Road. The Franklin’s stated they have not spoken to anyone yet.

The next normally scheduled meeting will take place May 14^th, 2020 at Lapel Town Hall at 6pm. This meeting will take place both in person and virtually.
