LAPEL TOWN COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING

JUNE 1, 2022

In attendance in person: Teresa Retherford, Chad Blake, Paula Lee, Stephanie Turner INDOT, Rob Bellucci Commonwealth.

In attendance online: Jason Kleinbub, Lindsay Washmuth and Attorney Jeff Graham

Absent: Noah Bozell

Turner informed the Council that Atlas should be done with the water project construction and have the road turned over to INDOT by July 11th however during a meeting held last week it would be another week before fittings required for the project arrive setting the turn over date back to AUGUST 13. INDOT is asking if the Town will allow Atlas to sub work the project 24/7.

Belluci stated Atlas delayed the start date 2 weeks but they are willing to put in 10 to 14 hour days to make up for time lost and meet schedule.

Motion to approve the adjustment to Atlas work schedule to 14 hour days made by Blake, 2nd by Retherford and all were in favor.
