Minutes from a Planning meeting on 10/9/2025.

LAPEL PLANNING COMMISSION
OCTOBER 9, 2025

In attendance: Brian Robertson, Brandon Hutchison, Diane Pressler, Andrea Baldwin,
Teresa Retherford, Secretary and Jeff Graham, Legal Counsel.

Motion to approve minutes for August 14, 2025 and September 11, 2025 made by
Hutchison, 2nd by Robertson and all were in favor.

Public Comment: There was no Public Comment

Old Business: None

New Business: None

Code Enforcement Case Updates: There are still letters being sent out. Retherford asked if
the Commission wanted people's names to be brought up at the Planning Commission
meeting who had letters sent to them. Pressler and Robertson both stated that they didn't
think it would be right. Baldwin stated that in the past it was voted to state the names so
Graham recommended taking a vote.

Motion was made by Hutchison that in future meetings that Code Enforcement Updates
we don't have the names read of who we sent letters to, 2nd by Baldwin and all were in favor.
Planning Administrator Update: BZA met last week granted a variance on a setback for a
garage and next month they will see a similar case. The Englewood PUD was voted down
last month by Town Council. They have been sent their Official Decision Letter and cannot
file another PUD for that land for a year. Johnson is working on proposed changes to ROW
permit structure. Jenny Reske, town manager, has sent it to some people to be reviewed
and he's not sure if she has received any comments back yet. Robertson asked about the
property that was turned down for the PUD that is zoned General Commercial. He has been
contacted by the Real Estate Agent to find out what can go on that property, so they know
who to target in their sale. Johnson stated that in our Ordinance there is a list under General
Commercial of things that can be built there.

Motion to adjourn made by Hutchison, 2nd by Robertson and all were in favor.
