ADOPTION OF MINUTES

Motion to approve minutes for March 1 2, 2026 made by West, 2^nd by Mayes. All in favor.

PLAN COMMISSION DISCUSSION

Item 1: Planning Administrator Report

Mr. Johnson presented two plats last month and they have been approved and signed. Plat 2026 03 has been recorded; Plat 2026 02 has been picked up but not recorded. He states there are no BZA updates.

Mr. Johnson talks about legislative bills that will go in effect July 1 , 2026.

Worthman makes a recommendation to form a subcommittee to meet every week/couple week to review segments of the UDO. Committee talks about getting together to discuss changes they would like Mr. Johnson to make to the UDO.

Motion to start a subcommittee to go over information in House Bill 1001-2026 made by West, 2^nd by Mayes. All in favor.

Item 2: Code Enforcement Cases Updates

Commission members informed Town Manager Reske that the Google file with the code enforcement violations could not be accessed, Mrs. Reske states something will be prepared for next meeting.

Commission members discussed what they would like forthcoming with information on all the violations that were mailed out.

ANNOUNCEMENT -AMERICAN CITIZEN PLANNER REGISTRATION

Mr. Johnson speaks about a course that is offered through Purdue that is available for the Planning Commission members to participate in if interested. Registration opens May 1 , 2026.
